About FTEHRD

FTHERD (Foundation of Technical Education & Human Resource Development) has been found to help young generation to find the right direction for their future. FTEHRD came into being to develop Pakistani Labor market by equipping poorer youth with modern, focused, job specific training to cope with the current scenarios in local and international market.

The Foundation for technical education and Human Resource Development (FTEHRD) wishes to develop a vocational / technical education system that would serve the demands of a modern, private-sector led economy both home and abroad. By building on the work with other organizations and government Departments such as the TEVTA, NEVTEC, NFRD and other technical schools and Institute, the FTEHRD Vocational Education Project wishes to help Pakistani community build up the institutional framework needed to support a demand-driven vocational education system. Through greater labor productivity and strengthening of training systems, the Project is designed to increase employment and income among unemployed and marginally-employed Pakistanis. The goal is to secure private-sector participation, establish skills standards and a competency-based qualification training system. The Project will identify technical trades which are in demand abroad so that job specific training can be given, leading to maximum placement abroad.

The Foundation will, where possible, provide free technical training, / support to the youth at different levels and provide opportunities for placement abroad.
